Referral commissions
For some products, we may receive a commission if you proceed with a provider through a link on our site. This never changes the rate, fees or terms you are offered, you pay the same as going direct.
Sponsored placements
Some providers pay to feature a product. Sponsored products are labelled SPONSORED and are never presented as an impartial ranking.
How this affects what you see
Commercial relationships can affect which products we show and how prominently, including default ordering. They do not change the rates or facts we publish. We aim to show competitive, relevant products regardless of any commercial arrangement, and you can re-sort and filter results yourself. We do not compare every product or provider in the market.
Editorial independence
Our "Editor's pick" labels and "Why we like it" notes reflect our own editorial view and are not paid for. Where a product is sponsored, that is disclosed separately from any editorial commentary.
Deposit protection
Deposit products are offered by Australian authorised deposit-taking institutions and may be covered by the Government's Financial Claims Scheme up to $250,000 per account holder, per institution. We flag which products qualify, but you should confirm with the provider.
